Robin Trower — Royal Oak Music Theatre, 2026

Live concert by British guitarist Robin Trower at the Royal Oak Music Theatre in Michigan on 8 October 2026, during his American tour. A former member of Procol Harum turned blues-rock legend in the 1970s with the album Bridge of Sighs, Trower remains one of the undisputed masters of expressive electric guitar, an avowed heir to Jimi Hendrix. On stage, his feeling-drenched playing, saturated with wah-wah and sustain, converses with a supple rhythm section to deliver powerful, soulful blues-rock. This filmed live capture illustrates the remarkable longevity of an artist still active after more than five decades. The Royal Oak Music Theatre, a historic venue in the Detroit area, provides an ideal setting for this intimate and electric concert. For fans of blues, live guitar and concert captures, this performance is a characterful addition to the catalogue, representative of a demanding and authentic blues-rock. A six-string masterclass.
