Tafa Mi-Soleil — Miami Beach Bandshell (Fèt Gede), 2025

Live concert video of Haitian singer Tafa Mi-Soleil at the Miami Beach Bandshell on 1 November 2025, for Fèt Gede, the Haitian festival honouring the ancestors. Driven by a deep connection to Haitian roots and culture, the artist leads a powerful performance within a night celebrating music, drumming, dance and ritual. Backed by a full band — Yves « The Fridge » Abel (bass), Rodney Merard (percussion), David Louis (drums), Harold St. Louis (keyboard) and Mass Kòd (guitar) — she blends contemporary sounds with Vodou heritage. Co-produced by The Rhythm Foundation and Fondasyon Zaka, the capture benefits from careful direction and multitrack recording. Fèt Gede, which honours those who came before, brings together music, drumming, dance and ritual, and the show places Tafa Mi-Soleil’s voice at the centre of that celebration of Haitian heritage and tradition. A valuable live document for discovering a strong voice of today’s Haitian scene and the vitality of Caribbean diaspora music in Miami. Live concert video, world music, live performance.
