Full Alcest set filmed in 2025. A pioneer of “blackgaze”, the French band led by Neige built a unique sound by fusing the fury of black metal with the ethereal softness of shoegaze and post-rock. This live capture conveys the full dynamic range of their music: walls of saturated guitars and blast beats giving way to luminous layers, vaporous melodies and vocals that shift between screams and whispers. Carried by Neige on guitar and vocals and Winterhalter on drums, the concert unspools a repertoire evoking the dreamlike landscapes and nostalgia dear to the group. This filmed live concert documents the stage maturity of a band that has become an international reference for atmospheric metal, able to reach extreme-music fans and indie-rock listeners alike. A sensory immersion at the crossroads of genres, ideal for discovering a singular voice in contemporary metal. Headphones are recommended to fully appreciate the dynamic contrasts that give the set its emotional depth.
