Full live concert filmed on July 25, 2026 at the Kaaos Festival in Hämeenlinna, Finland, by the band RYUJIN, led by Japanese guitarist and singer Ryoji Shinomoto. Formerly known as Gyze, the band develops a “samurai metal” that fuses Nordic melodic death metal with Japanese-inspired scales and melodies. The seven-song set — “Gekokujo,” “Desire,” “Dragon Calling,” “Samurai Metal,” “Far Eastern Land,” “Asian Chaos” and “Oriental Symphony” — foregrounds twin-guitar harmonies, blast beats and the epic imagery dear to the group. On stage, Ryoji Shinomoto (guitar, vocals) is joined by Timi Tonteri (guitar), Petri Sara (bass) and Teppo Ristola (drums). This live capture, released by the band itself, documents their return to Finnish stages and the maturity of a project backed on record by Trivium’s Matt Heafy. A filmed live concert not to be missed by fans of melodic metal and East-meets-West fusion, it captures a tight, high-energy festival set in front of a dedicated Finnish crowd and confirms RYUJIN as a formidable live act on the European circuit.
