Together they carry a repertoire of danceable, festive salsa, with blazing horns and fiery montunos, before a won-over crowd. The song « Cucala » is among the identified titles of this performance. A rare summit meeting between two giants of the genre, this capture is a valuable document of live salsa at the dawn of the 2000s, a few years before Celia Cruz’s passing.
