Mon Laferte — Tiny Desk, 2026

Released on 15 September 2026 as part of NPR’s Latin Music Month, this Tiny Desk session brings together Chilean singer Mon Laferte and the web’s most famous live format. Behind the celebrated desk, the Mexico-based artist unfurls her stylistic range — bolero, rock, cumbia, Latin alternative pop — with a full ensemble of piano, guitar, bass, drums, trumpet, trombone and two saxophones, Mon Laferte herself playing the Omnichord. The live concert opens on a jazz-tinged piece and runs through five songs, including « No Le Regales Tu Corazón », written for her husband, during which she lets her tears flow on camera. Between scenic elegance and raw emotion, this capture illustrates why Mon Laferte has become one of the major voices of contemporary Latin American music. An intimate, finely arranged live archive, this Tiny Desk offers an ideal concierto en directo for discovering the breadth of her repertoire and the richness of her band.
