Tool — Lollapalooza Brazil, 2025

A filmed live performance of Tool headlining Lollapalooza Brazil on 30 March 2025 at the Autódromo de Interlagos in São Paulo. On their first South American tour, the Californian quartet — Maynard James Keenan on vocals, Adam Jones on guitar, Justin Chancellor on bass and Danny Carey on drums — deliver a progressive-metal set built on odd time signatures, hypnotic moods and the video projections that frame each song. In keeping with their stage habits, the band place their singer to the rear, on a riser near the drums, and let the lighting and visuals carry the drama. The capture follows a career-spanning setlist, from “Fear Inoculum” and “Pneuma” to the classics “Schism,” “Ænema” and “Stinkfist,” along with the extended pieces “Rosetta Stoned” and “The Grudge.” On “Jambi,” the band bring out guitarist Jéssica di Falchi. This full concert conveys the sonic scale and staging of Tool live before the Brazilian crowd, where Danny Carey’s drumming anchors the shifting meters. A standout addition to Livconcert’s metal catalogue, balancing rhythmic virtuosity and dramatic tension.
