This filmed live concert features Croatian classical guitarist Ana Vidovic, one of the most respected performers on her instrument, in recital in Lambrecht as part of the Classical Guitar Events, in 2019. Trained from a very young age and acclaimed on international stages, Ana Vidovic is admired for her limpid technique, the clarity of her articulation and the musicality of her phrasing. Alone on stage with her guitar, she unfolds a demanding programme drawn from the great classical-guitar repertoire, which typically brings together romantic pieces, Spanish music and transcriptions. The recital format fully showcases the dynamic finesse of her playing and the richness of tone she draws from an acoustic instrument. A carefully produced capture for lovers of classical music and guitar, this live archive documents a full concert by a leading artist, ideal for appreciating the rigour and sensitivity of a live performance, without artifice. The full recital is a reference capture for classical-guitar enthusiasts.
