Fally Ipupa — Stade de France, Saint-Denis, 2026

Live concert by Fally Ipupa at the Stade de France, in Saint-Denis near Paris, on 2 May 2026. A leading figure of Congolese rumba and Afropop, the Kinshasa-born artist celebrates twenty years of a solo career in a historic event: the first sub-Saharan African artist to fill the Stade de France, with a second date added on 3 May after the first sold out. Before tens of thousands of spectators, Fally Ipupa unfolds a repertoire drawn from his albums (from “Droit Chemin” to “Formule 7” and beyond), alternating sentimental ballads with dance sequences driven by soukous and ndombolo. This full concert showcases a large-scale staging and a long roster of guests: Youssou N’Dour, Wizkid, Guy2Bezbar, Matt Pokora, SDM, Joé Dwèt Filé, Theodora and Mokobe. The recording documents a milestone for African music in Paris and Fally Ipupa’s standing as a global ambassador of Congolese rumba. An essential live concert for understanding the rise of French-speaking Afropop on Europe’s biggest stages in 2026, and a landmark night for the Congolese diaspora.
